Digital door sign for a doctor's room at a Meuhedet clinic

Meuhedet operates a wide clinic network across Israel. Visitors deal with constantly changing information — which doctor is in the room, who's next, where to go, which services are open. Before KONEKT, much of this was managed with static signs, sticky notes and printed labels.

The challenge

  • Information changes by the hour — doctor name, substitute, alternate room.
  • Branch managers spent time maintaining paper signs.
  • Inconsistent member experience between branches.
  • High accessibility requirements (legible text, contrast, size).

The KONEKT solution

We deployed 100+ smart door screens at doctor's rooms and larger wall screens in waiting areas. Screens pull data from Meuhedet's internal systems — doctor schedules, queue management, and member-to-room assignment. Any change at the source appears on screen within seconds.

  • Compact door screens readable from across a corridor.
  • Larger waiting-area screens with queue and system messages.
  • Integration to LDAP and Meuhedet's queue system.
  • Single CMS managing every screen — HQ can push a system message to all of them in one shot.
  • Accessibility support (font size, contrast, voice routing).

Results

  • 100+ door screens deployed, centrally managed.
  • Major time savings for branch staff who no longer maintain paper signs.
  • Consistent member experience across the chain.
  • Emergency messages (closures, health guidance) pushed to one or all screens in seconds.
