Pizza Hut Israel — Nationwide Digital Menu Boards with KONEKT
How Pizza Hut moved every branch to centrally managed digital menu boards — cutting menu update time from days to seconds.

Pizza Hut is one of Israel's largest pizza chains, with dozens of branches across the country. Until recently, every branch ran printed menus — each menu change, promotion or new product required design, printing, shipping and physical replacement. That meant days of lag and visual inconsistency between branches.
The challenge
- Printed menus updated in days or weeks.
- Visual inconsistency between branches of the same chain.
- High printing and logistics costs every time a menu or promo changed.
- No ability to run dynamic peak-hour promotions (lunch / late-night).

The KONEKT solution
We built Pizza Hut a centralised digital signage platform. Headquarters builds the menu once in the CMS and it propagates in seconds to every screen in every branch — or to a targeted subset by region, time of day or campaign.
Key components
- Central CMS for content and menu design.
- Automatic scheduling of breakfast/lunch/dinner menus per branch.
- Real-time monitoring of every screen (online/offline, content version).
- Resilient player with offline cache for short connectivity drops.
- Unified design templates that keep every branch on-brand.
The results
- Menu update time dropped from 3–7 days to under 10 seconds.
- Fully consistent display across all branches — unified brand experience.
- Major savings in printing and logistics for posters.
- Dynamic happy-hour promotions launchable in one click.
What's next
Next steps include time-of-day and weather-based dynamic content, and richer rotating marketing content tailored to each branch's audience.
